Sorry I Stole Your Truck

After losing her job and ridding herself of her cheating boyfriend, Cedar Montgomery heads up north to visit her friend Jaime, a hillbilly lesbian in the throes of a gun-wielding feud with her neighbours. Cedar soon discovers that Hellcat is a small town filled with eccentrics, rednecks, gossipy old ladies…and Lucan Sprague, millworker and supposed town badboy, who is just too sexy not to have a fling with.

Cedar thinks everyone in town is crazy—until she discovers her abused birth mother living in the next town over and does something a little nutty herself when she kidnaps her, hightailing it back to Vancouver and sabotaging her blossoming romance with Lucan. When her mother disappears again, a wounded Cedar returns to Hellcat to find that Lucan doesn’t want to be with her…or does he? Cedar can’t figure it out, and it will take a pair of lesbians, a surprise elopement, and a few meddling townsfolk to bring them together.

Marisa’s Story (Untitled)

Marisa Felber has a reputation in Hellcat, and not just for her tendency to speak her mind to nosy gossips. As the self-proclaimed town slut, she lives a life free of strings and all things romantic, and she’d like to keep it that way.

When she learns that her childhood nemesis is back in town, she’s more than happy to welcome him home by chasing him down Main Street with a broom. Except it turns out that Addison Thomas has not only grown into an annoyingly handsome man, but he also wants into Marisa’s pants. Determined not to fall for his charm, she reignites their old feud—only now, the sparks flying between them aren’t all from anger.

Marisa’s not a relationship kind of girl, though, and Addison’s not the only guy in her no-strings life. There’s also Cody Wilkinson: sexy cop, occasional bedmate, and possibly the one man in town who can match her energy in and out of uniform. When a scandalous secret rocks the town, Marisa finds herself forced to confront her feelings, and the very thing she’s spent her whole life avoiding: love.

Women’s Fiction

Birch Grove

Ten years ago, a landslide decimated the small mining hamlet of Birch Grove. Seeking answers, abandoned by the government, the last residents of a ghost town fight to discover the truth behind the collapse of a mine and the deaths of their loved ones.

Twenty-one-year-old Mariana Delane and her friends grew up in the shadow of a fallen mountain. Under cover of darkness, she and her friends dig in a moonscape of crushed rock where the town’s mine once lay. Suspecting a coverup by the mining company, the only way to find the truth about what happened to their loved ones is to do it themselves. If they can elude the authorities, that is.

When young cop Stephen Mahogany moves to town to shut them down once and for all, it ignites a game of cat and mouse and a race to find answers. Willing to go to any lengths to discover the truth, Mariana gets close to Stephen…but finds herself falling for him instead. With tensions escalating and time running out, she must convince him to help them find out the truth or risk losing everything…including him.
